NANCY CARROLL VARNEY 70 of Memphis, formerly of Mount Clemens and Caro died Monday, May 28, 2007 in Port Huron Mercy Hospital after an extended illness. Mrs. Varney was born October 31, 1936 in Mount Clemens, Michigan to the late Oscar and Laura (Jarvis) Tindle. She had worked as a nurse's aide at Belle River Pines Senior Residence in Memphis and Baker Electric also in Memphis. Nancy was a member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Memphis and enjoyed crossword and jig-saw puzzles, working on the computer and flowers. She is survived by her children, Lee and Judy Lind of Riley, Guy and Kathy Lind of Maryville, TN., Jay Lind of San Diego, CA. and Dawn and Mike Bell of Waveland, MS, brothers, Bernie and Carol Aude of St. Clair, James Aude of Roseville, sisters, Jean and Mac McGee of Raleigh, NC., Ida Barnes of Lebanon, OR., Laura and Bill Ogden of Franklin, NC., and Lorraine and Albert Stoh of Alger, MI., nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Robert Tindle, Donna Ogden and Linda Costello. A memorial service will be on Saturday, June 2, 2007 at 12:00 noon in Rewalt Funeral Home in Richmond. Reverend Paul Boerger, pastor of St. Andrews Church will officiate.
