Nancy Jean Novak

Nancy Jean Novak, 81, of Richmond, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 8, 2016. Nancy was born in St. Charles, Michigan on December 1, 1934 to George and Gladys (Walker) Thorsby. She married John Novak on April 24, 1954. Loving mother of John (Vicki) Novak of Circleville, Ohio; Jeff Novak of Richmond, Michigan; and Tom Novak of Auburn, Alabama. Devoted grandmother of Jillian (Anthony) Harmer, Jeffrey Novak Jr., Katie Novak, Tiffany Novak, Terra Bell, Scott (Jordan) Novak, Molly Novak, John (Julie) Bilchak, Megan (Kevin) Hardy, and Rebecca (Nate) Brockmeyer. Great grandmother of Carter, Reese, and Blake Novak, Alice and Natalie Bilchak, Aidan Isaac, Declan and Elin Hardy, Lincoln, Warren, Vivian, and Harry Brockmeyer, and Penelope Park. Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, John; her son, Scott; her parents, and her siblings Betty Whaley, Walker Thorsby, Bill Thorsby and Dick Thorsby. She loved spending time with family and was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Richmond. Visitation will be 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2016, at Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond 48062. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 13, 2016, with a visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the First United Methodist Church, 69495 N. Main St., Richmond 48062. Memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church.
