Mildred Stella Uhl

Mildred Stella Uhl, 87, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017. Mildred was born to the late Frank and Bernetta Messing July 21, 1930. Beloved wife of the late Walter Uhl for 53 years. Caring mother of Alan (Mary Jo) Uhl, Thomas (Joann) Uhl, James (Sheryl) Uhl, Bruce (Lori) Uhl, Dale (Teresa) Uhl and Doreen Uhl; Special grandmother of 18; Great grandmother of 14. Also, survived by her sibling's Gordon (Julie) Messing, Sylvia Landon, Norman (Eleanor) Messing, Elizabeth (Norma) Outlaw, Daniel (Diane) Messing and brother-in-law Fred Roggenbuck. Preceded in death by her sibling's Mark Messing, Arlene Roggenbuck and sister-in-law Bernice Messing. Mildred was very active with helping other's less fortunate while she was in Florida and was a member of the Good Samaritan Group.
Visitation will be 2:00-8:00 p.m. with a Scripture Service at 6:30 p.m. Monday, October 16, 2017 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 68035 Main St, Richmond, MI 48062. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Residential Hospice, 5440 Corporate Dr., Troy, MI 48098.
