MILDRED "IRENE" BISHOP age 93, a thirty year resident of Romeo died Saturday, November 9, 2013 in Port Huron Hospital. Ms. Bishop was born December 16, 1919 in Wales Township, MI to the late Adrian and Mildred (Hall) Bishop. She graduated from Memphis High School and attended St. Clair County Community College. Irene worked as a clerk at the Co-Op Credit Union. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and tending to her flowers. She is survived by her siblings; Gilbert,Dale (Mary), Wendell (Marion), Elwin (Vivian), Paul (Betty), Shirley, Eliza and Leatha Bishop, and Velma (Don) Fitzgerald. She was preceded in death by her siblings; Adrian, Wilbur, Howard,Roy and Philip Bishop. A funeral service will be on
Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 1:00pm in the Rewalt Funeral Home in Richmond. Reverend Elwin Bishop will officiate. Burial will be in the Memphis Cemetery. Visiting will be Monday from 3 to 8pm and Tuesday from noon to 1:00pm. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
