Michael R. Rose

MICHAEL ROBERT ROSE age 59 of Richmond died Friday, July 6, 2012 in his home after an extended illness. Mr. Rose was born October 3, 1952 in Mount Clemens to Robert and Elaine (Bauman) Rose. He graduated from Richmond High School in 1970. Mike was an avid antique tractor fan and proud owner of his 1954 Farmall Super C model. He enjoyed going with his brothers to the tractor shows. Mike is survived by his mother; Elaine VanNuck of Richmond, siblings; James VanNuck of New Baltimore, Jonathan (Mary) VanNuck of Almont, Janet Rose of Richmond, Patty Rose of Marysville, Terri (Dennis) VanNuck of Columbus and Joyce (Kenneth) Kammer of Columbus, nieces and nephews; Hannah VanNuck, Haley VanNuck, Melissa Rose, Nathan VanNuck, Adam VanNuck and Shawn (Christine) Rose, great-niece and nephew; Katelyn and Caleb Rose. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Rose on December 15, 1963. A funeral service will be on Monday, July 9, 2012 at 11:00am in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Reverend Randy Lett, pastor of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Richmond will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in St. Clair. Visiting will be Sunday from 3 to 8pm and Monday from 10 to 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
