Michael Morian

MICHAEL J. MORIAN age 55, a lifelong resident of New Haven died Sunday, April 29, 2007 in St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Clinton Township. Mr. Morian was born August 5, 1951 in Mount Clemens, Michigan to the late Sylvester and Mae (Verbeke) Morian. He married Marion Russo in Clinton Township, Michigan on February 18, 1989. Mike attended St Augustine School thru grade eleven then graduated from New Haven High School in 1969. He went on to graduate twice from Specs Howard in broadcasting and as an electronic technician. He served in the United States Army from 1971 to 1975 where he received several accommodations. He worked as an administrative assistant in the United States Army Recruiting Office in Mt. Clemens. Mike was a fantastic musician who enjoyed singing, composing and playing the guitar. He was a member of the Duncan-Sullivan Amvets Post 72 in New Haven and enjoyed gardening. He is survived by his wife, Marion, step-son, John and Catrena Klos of Savannah, GA., siblings, Sylvester Morian of CA., Sally (Charles) Slankster of Yale, Dorothy (Daniel) Chrysler of Lapeer, Rosemary (Floyd Jr.) Brinley of Kingston, Patricia York of Jackson and Shelia (Andy) Andruszkiewicz of TX., special nephew, Joseph and Stephanie Brinley of Troy, father and mother-in-law, Augustine and Rose Russo of Fraser and sister-in-law, Josephine (Ken) Bale of Highland. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his siblings, Richard and Robert Morian, Dolores Vanlerberghe, Betty Morian and Barbara Boltik. A funeral service will be Wednesday at 11:000am in St. Francis of Assisi in Ray Township. Reverend Sidney Eckert will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery in Richmond. Visiting will be Tuesday from 3 to 9pm in Rewalt Funeral Home in Richmond and 10:30 to 11:00am Wednesday in the Church. A White Clover service will be Tuesday at 7pm. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
