MICHAEL STEVEN HORNING age 50 of Columbus Township died unexpectedly on Saturday, November 14, 2009 in Port Huron Mercy Hospital. Mr. Horning was born January 22, 1959 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Ralph and Betty (Roney) Horning. He married Gloria Menter in Mount Clemens on October 9, 1992. Mike worked as a CNC operator at Greene Metal Company in Clinton Township and enjoyed working on cars. He is survived by his wife, Gloria, son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Virginia Horning, daughter, Betty Horning all of Columbus Twp., siblings, Douglas Horning of Grand Rapids and Eunice Mentor of Fraser and three grandchildren, Skyler, Steven and Brooklynn Horning. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Chuck, Ralph, David and Linda Horning. A funeral service will be on Friday, November 20, 2009 at 11:00am in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Joanne Dalton and Sally Hager of Community of Christ Church in Richmond will officiate. Cremation will follow service.
