Michael Whalen Ghesquiere

Michael Whalen Ghesquiere, 69, of Columbus, passed away at U of M Hospital Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Loving husband of Lynn Ghesquiere; Caring father of Heidi, Michael (Tracy) and Tammy (Cory) ; Grandfather of Michael, Austin, Lydia, Calen, Madison, David, Abigail, Emma, Ellie, Maggie, Grace and Olivia. Also, survived by his siblings John and Carol Ghesquiere. Most important to Michael was his family and his business, but he loved competition ballroom dancing, driving his Corvette and Model A, was a long-time season ticket holder for the Tigers and Red Wings; and everybody knew him for his fondness of Mickey Mouse. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond 48062. Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2017 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 67055 Gratiot Ave, Richmond 48062. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
