Mary Agnes Yelencich

Mary Agnes Yelencich, 90, of Richmond, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, May 19, 2019. Mary was born August 8, 1928 to the late Henry and Esther VanLoo. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Yelencich Sr.; cherished mother of Joe (Connie), Steve, Dave (Penny), Mark (Joe), Robert (Nancy) and Phil (Beth) Yelencich, Mary Mazur, John (Lei) and Richard (Tammy) Yelencich and Ann (Troy) Enders; special grand mother of 29; great grandmother of 23; great, great grandmother of 1. Also, survived by her sister Julie (Art) Hebel, sister-in-law, Barbara Knight, brother-in-law's William Martindale and Ralph Arlin. Preceded in death by her siblings Herb and Edward Vanloo and Lucille Martindale. Mary was the former owner of Yelencich's Greenhouse and a life long member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. She enjoyed flowers, painting, bingo, scrabble, going to the casino's and loved to spend time with her family.
Visitation will be 2:00-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 until the time of Mass, Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 68035 Main St, Richmond, MI 48062.
