Mary Ann Reece

REECE, Mary Ann (Clark) age 81 of Richmond died unexpectedly Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. Mary Ann was born July 14, 1932 in Detroit to the late William and Rosalie (Boussicaud) Clark. She was a 1950 graduate of All Girls Catholic Central High School in Detroit and a 1967 graduate of WSU. Mary Ann began her teaching career at Osborne High School in Detroit and then transferred to Richmond High School where she taught Spanish for more than twenty years. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Richmond where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She was an avid democrat and enjoyed knitting, audio books, all music and having breakfast with her teacher friends. She is survived by her children; Thomas (Donna) Ramirez of Vanderbilt, Mary Ramirez of Whitmore Lake and Joseph (Ann) Ramirez of Kennesaw, GA, siblings; Thomas Clark of Birmingham and George (Paulette) Clark of Macomb Twp. and the late Joseph Clark and his wife, Rita, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 11:30am in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond with visiting starting at 10:30. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the American Lung Association or the Michigan Humane society.
