Marion D. Ignasiak

MARION DOROTHY IGNASIAK age 87 of Lenox Township, Michigan died Tuesday, July 31, 2012 in her home after an extended illness. Mrs. Ignasiak was born June 25, 1925 in Ira Township, MI. to the late Clement and Mary (Biendet) Reumenapp. She married George Ignasiak in Anchorville on May 17, 1947. Mr. Ignasiak died July 9, 1993. Marion graduated from Marine City High School in 1943. Following the death of her husband, Marion became a Carmelite nun at the Carmelite Monastery in Clinton Township. She is survived by her children; Mary (Paul) Lathrop, Susan Ignasiak, Donna (Paul) Wormsbacher, Barbara Danks, Ann (Randy) Frederick, Nancy (Lyle) Criscuolo, Gary (Pam) Ignasiak, Terry Ignasiak, George (Amy) Ignasiak, David (Connie) Ignasiak and Michael (Susan) Ignasiak, siblings; Christine Plegue, Cecelia Plass, Irene Schweiger and Ann Marie Westrick and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her son Lawrence Ignasiak in 1989. A funeral Mass will be on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 11:00am in St. Augustine Catholic Church in Richmond. Visiting will be in the church starting at 9:30am. A rosary will be recited at 10:15am in the church. Reverend Joseph Horn, pastor will officiate.
