Marie Emma Lesch 74 of Ray Township, formerly of St. Clair Shores, died Thursday, January 10, 2008 in Medilodge of Richmond after an extended illness. She was born February 12, 1933 in New Brunswick, Canada to the late Lucien and Juliene (Tremelay) Comeau. Emma married Louis Lesch in Toronto in 1956. She worked as a prep cook and enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and sewing. She is survived by her children Grace (Clinton) Wygal of Ray Township, Robert Lesch of Chesterfield, and John (Lynn) Lesch of Clinton Twp., siblings John, Lucien, and Emile Comeau, and Marie Vella, and three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Louis, and siblings: Antoine, Fredrick, Albert, Robert, Jimmie, Joseph, and Jeanne Comeau, and Margaret Robichaud. A funeral service will be Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 2:00 pm in Rewalt Funeral Home. Fr. Joseph Horn, pastor of Holy Family Catholic Church, Memphis will officiate. Burial will be in Memphis Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
