Marie Breuer

MARIE BREUER age 80 of Richmond died Thursday, September 24, 2009 in Medilodge of St. Clair after an extended illness. Mrs. Breuer was born March 19, 1929 in Columbus Township, Michigan to the late Thomas and Alvina (Shafer) Dolan. She married Floyd Breuer in Columbus Township on September 30, 1950. Mr. Breuer died July 20, 2001. Marie graduated from Memphis High School and worked at Chrysler Corporation for a few years. She retired after twenty-five years service as the secretary for St. Augustine School in Richmond. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and Altar Sodality of St. Augustine Church, the Richmond chapter of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed playing bingo, doing puzzles, crocheting and watching the Detroit Tigers. She is survived by her children, David and Patty Breuer of Washington and Judy and Kary Corbat of Smith Creek, her brother, Donald and Bernice Dolan of Kimball Township, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her brothers, Melvin and Thomas Dolan. A funeral Mass will be on Monday at 10:00am in St. Augustine Catholic Church. Reverend Joseph Plawecki, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery. Visiting will be on Saturday from 5 to 8pm, Sunday from 3 to 8pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond and Monday from 9:30 to 10am in the church. There will be a rosary recited at 6:00pm on Sunday in the funeral home.
