Marie Antoinette Agosta

Marie Antoinette Agosta, 98, of Columbus, passed away at McLaren Macomb Hospital Monday, November 19, 2018. Antoinette was born April 23, 1920 to the late Vito and Mary Messana. Beloved wife of the late Michael Agosta; cherished mother of Rosina (Thomas) Smith, Mary (the late Gerald) Harms and Joseph (Annette) Agosta. Special grandmother of David (Karen), Steven (Diana), Jeff (Shannon) and Thomas (Britney) Smith, Lori Raska, Michele (Patrick) Brooks, Jodi (Brent) Bastian, Marisa Ginn, Michael and Adam (Angie) Agosta, Rebecca Wessel and Rachael Sulkowski; great grandmother of Sophia, Leo, Nico, Alex, Jake, Jessica, Ashleigh, Chyanne, Dominic, Hayden, Tanner, Kyle, Noah, Nathan, Isaac, Luke, Gavin, Clayton, Jacob, Lilly, Emma and Brady. Preceded in death by her brothers Mario and Milo Messana and her sister Francie Messana. Antoinette was a lifelong parishioner at St. Augustine Catholic Church and a member of the altar Sodality. She loved to cook especially her famous bread.
Visitation will be 2:00-8:00 p.m. with a Scripture Service at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass Friday, November 23, 2018 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 68035 Main Street, Richmond, MI 48062.
