Mariann Elizabeth Nimbach

Mariann Elizabeth Nimbach, 92, passed into eternity Tuesday, December 14, in Richmond, Michigan. Mariann was born February 15, 1929, in Detroit to the late Walter and Leona Smith. Mariann was preceded in death by her husband Rudolf, her daughter Ann Hackstock and son Rudolf Nimbach. She is survived by sons Thomas (Julie), Eric (Michelle) and Otto, and daughter Hattie Nimbach. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Mariann functioned as a beloved matriarch for many decades, the focal point of a large and varied family. She was a staunch devotee of the Traditional Latin Mass, deeply attached to Our Lord Jesus Christ and His Blessed Mother.
A funeral Mass will be held at 2:30 P.M. Friday, December 17, with a visitation from 2:00 P.M. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 57575 Romeo Plank Rd., Ray, MI 48096. In lieu of donations, please offer a Mass for the repose of her soul.
