Lucia Marcu, 81, passed away peacefully at Medilodge of St. Clair Sunday, November 17, 2019. Lucia was born April 24, 1938 to the late Alexandru and Victoria Talaba.
Beloved mother of Laurian (Traute) Popa and Lucian (Georgeta) Marcu; caring grandmother of Alice (Thomas) Ladwig, Astrid (Cosmin) Cirstea, Mariachristina Marcu and Alexander (Melanie) Marcu; great grandmother of Lukas and Louis Ladwig and Isabella Cirstea.
Lucia enjoyed shopping, knitting, socializing and gossiping. She loved animals and reading her bible.
Her huge personality has trickled down to her children and grandchildren. Her memory will live on for many generations.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 21, 2019 with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Service.
