LOUISE FLORENCE WESTHOUSE, age 84 of Lenox, formerly of Warren died Sunday, May 20, 2007 in her home after a brief illness. She was born May 5, 1923 in Newark, New Jersey to the late Thomas and Florence (Bartosch) Lawrence. She served in the United States Navy during World War II and went on to retire as a service representative from Michigan Bell Telephone. Mrs. Westhouse was a member of the Telephone Pioneers Club of America, the General Motors Tech Center Retirement Club, former member of the V.F.W. and enjoyed traveling, crocheting, music, doing crossword puzzles, watching the Detroit Tigers and golf, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter Mary Fedak of Lenox, son Butch Westhouse of Almont, daughter-in-law Michelle Robinson of Clinton Twp., grandchildren George (Karen Cook) Fedak, Laura (Bart Perry) Toomey, Robert Westhouse, Tania (Peter) Daleo, Tammy (Bill) DeSchutter, and Hugh Skwierc, great-grandchildren: James and Katie Toomey, Peter and Nicholas Daleo, Christopher, Jason, and Rebekah Cook, David and Dalton Cooper, William DeSchutter, and Parker Skwierc,. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Thomas and Dorothy Lawrence. A funeral service will be Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at 10:30am in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Reverend Alvin Titus will officiate. Burial will be in Centennial Cemetery in New Haven. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 to 9pm.
