LORRAINE MARION SCHULTZ 91 a lifelong resident of Richmond died unexpectedly in her home on Thursday, October 10, 2013. Mrs. Schultz was born December 9, 1921 to the late Albert and Ella (Osterland) Hartway. She married William Schultz in Richmond on September 26, 1942. Mr. Schultz died May 12, 2000. Lorraine graduated from Richmond High School in 1939 and attended nursing school for one year. She worked at the family business, Richmond Dairy for many years and at Winkel's Grocery and Ben Duengel's Men's Clothing Store. In her younger years she was an avid bowler and enjoyed watching her sons' sporting events. She was an active member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and the Richmond American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, cooking and canning. She is survived by her sons; David (Jane) Schultz of Massillon, OH and Phillip (Mary Lambert) Schultz of Memphis, her brother; Robert (Joyce) Hartway of Richmond, grandchildren; Stacey (Tim) Tucker of Florence, AZ, Benjamin (Brit) Schultz of Milwaukee, WI and Stephen Schultz of Kent, OH and great-grandchildren; Nick and Nathan Tucker. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her brother, Carl Hartway. A funeral service will be on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11am in St Peter Lutheran Church in Richmond with visiting from 10 to 11am. Reverend John Langewisch will officiate. Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Lois Wagner Memorial Library or the St. Peter Lutheran Church Choir Fund.
