Loreen Marie Verwest

Loreen Marie Verwest, 68, of Richmond, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Blue Water Hospice Home. Loreen was born February 3, 1956 to the late Joseph and Eleanor Haydamack. Beloved wife of Donald Verwest and cherished mother of Melissa Verwest (and Family) and Donald Verwest. Also survived by her brothers, Randy (Donna) Haydamack and Jim Haydamack, brothers and sisters through marriage, and numerous nieces and nephews. Loreen (Lori) created beauty in the world through her masterful quilting, gourmet cooking, and meticulous gardening. She graduated from Saint Clair Community College with an Associates in Arts degree. She worked as a Bank Teller in Washington Township and Richmond for a combined 23 years. Lori enjoyed playing tennis and hosting gatherings for friends and family for all occasions and holidays, especially Halloween.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 68035 Main St, Richmond, MI 48062.
