Lois Stebbins

LOIS STEBBINS 93 of Richmond died Sunday, October 7, 2007 in St. John River District Hospital. Mrs. Stebbins was born November 16, 1913 in Hersey, MI. to the late Allister and Leah (Steinhoff) Denniston. She married Kenneth Reichow in Big Rapids, MI. in 1931. He died September 13, 1968. She married Harry Lee Stebbins in Utica, MI. on September 9, 1973. He died September 27, 1997. Lois graduated from Hersey High School and worked as a do-nut maker for Dawn Do-nuts. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dianna and Robert Gillem of Richmond, son-in-law, Bob Watson of TN., siblings, Neva Blumberger of Macomb, Lena Shipele of Marshall, Kathleen Waskiewicz of Warren, John (Pat) Denniston of Big Rapids and Lee (MaryJane) Denniston of Marshall, ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husbands she was preceded in death by her daughters, Lucille Watson in 1994 and MaryAnn Stobaugh in 2006, son-in-law, Alex Stobaugh and siblings Forrester "Buster", George, Alvin "Bud", and Max Denniston, and Laura and Margie Ward. A funeral service was October 10, 2007at Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Reverend Alvin Titus officiated. Burial was in Cadillac Memorial East Cemetery. Visit rewaltfuneralhome.com.
