Linda Marie Hummel

Linda Marie Hummel, 68, of New Baltimore, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019. Linda was born March 21, 1950 to the late Adelbert and Leona Hummel. She is survived by her daughter, Dana Hummel; siblings, Laura Hummel, Patricia (Ed) Podolan and Bill Hummel; niece, Tina (Bill) Kacanowski; grandnephews Fred and Paul Kacanowski; uncle Howard Hurttgam, cousins, Mark, John, Jane and Ben Hurttgam. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a baby sister and aunt Imogene Hurttgam. Linda was employed at Port Huron Hospital (McLaren) for 32 years before retiring in 2009. She was an avid reader, especially Mark Twain and Jane Austen. She enjoyed knitting, crafts, cooking and cooking shows.
Visitation will be 2:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2019 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Service, Monday, March 18, 2019 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 62657 North Ave, Ray, MI 48096.
