Lewis "Bill" Perry

LEWIS "BILL" PERRY age 83 of Richmond, formerly of Warren died Sunday, January 11, 2015 in his home after an extended illness. Mr. Perry was born May 7, 1931 in Brandon Township, Michigan to the late Earl and Dorothy (Wahl) Perry. He graduated from Romeo High School in 1949 and retired in 1993 as a stylist from the General Motors Tech Center in Warren after thirty years service. Bill married Shirley Przyhocki Guzak in Las Vegas, NV on September 16, 1983. He was a former Romeo Police Officer and fireman. He was a member of the Romeo Elks Club and enjoyed playing golf and fishing, Bill is survived by his wife, Shirley, children; David Perry of Lakeland, FL, Dean (Betty) Perry of Pendergrass, GA, Denise (Andy) Kappa of Romeo, Sally (Michael) Stricker of Las Vegas, Bill (Jenifer) Perry of Las Vegas and Jody (David) O'Brien of Las Vegas, step-children; Steven (Stephanie) Guzak of Warren, Jackie (Jeff) Hughes of Hobe Sound, Florida and Linda (Sam) De'Hondt of Romeo, sister; Marilyn (Clint) Sieweke of McDonough, GA, brother-in-law, Bill Boynton, twenty-three grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his grandson, Justin Kappa and sister, Audrey Boynton. A Celebration of Life luncheon will be on Friday, January 16th at 1:00pm at the Romeo VFW Hall, 70455 McVicar, Romeo, MI. 48065.
