Leona Ella Conner

Leona Ella Conner, 99, of Richmond, passed away at Angelica's Place in Romeo, July 29, 2017. Leona was born to the late Charles and Mary Ruthenburg May 2, 1918. Beloved wife of the late Glenn Conner; Caring mother of Tom (Tina) Conner, Doug (Louise) Conner, LuAnn (Jim) Leonard and Brian (Cathie) Conner; Special grandmother of Melanie, Sarah, Linda, Calista, Keegan, Angela, Travis, Sam, Nicole, Samantha, Morgan and Kacie; Great grandmother of Joseph, Jessica, Olivia, Elise, Ian, Jefferson, Conner and Brett. Preceded in death by her siblings Viola Gramzow, Rudy and Herman Ruthenburg. Leona was active in the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, camping and bowling. Visitation will be 2:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062. Memorial donations may be made to Great Lakes Hospice or Angelica's Place.
