Lawrence G. Schweiger

LAWRENCE GLENN SCHWEIGER age 54 of Richmond Township died unexpectedly on Sunday, July 18, 2010 in his home. Mr. Schweiger was born April 29, 1956 in Mount Clemens, MI. to Glenn and Irene (Ruemenapp) Schweiger. He married Terry Bertossi in Richmond on February 13, 1976. Larry graduated from Richmond High School in 1974. He was a member of the IBEW Local 58 and worked at Motor City Electric in Detroit. He was a lifetime member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Richmond and enjoyed snowmobiling, Jeeping and hunting. He was an Ouga member in Rose City. Larry is survived by his wife, Terry, sons, Thomas (Trisha), Timothy and Robert (Andrea), grandchildren, Jaycob, Braiden and Madison Schweiger, parents, Glenn and Irene Schweiger, siblings, Leonard (Vicki) Schweiger, Sandra (John) Shuboy, Edward (Melodee) Schweiger, Cheryl (Donald) Riedel, Kathleen (Dave) Sparby, Lorraine (Brian) Leach, Ronald (Connie) Schweiger, Glenn (Molly) Schweiger, Janet (Nick) Dobson, Daryl (LeAnn) Schweiger, James Schweiger and Angie Carrol and A funeral Mass will be on Thursday, July 22nd at 10:30am in St. Augustine Catholic Church in Richmond. Visiting priest, Reverend Joseph Horn will officiate. Visiting will be Wednesday from 3 to 9:00pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond and Thursday from 10 to 10:30am in the church.
