Lawrence Pirtle

LAWRENCE ALLEN PIRTLE 68 of Casco Township died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 5, 2008 in Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center. Mr. Pirtle was born August 26, 1939 in Detroit to the late Charles and Ethel Pirtle. Larry retired January 31, 2005 as a truck driver at Chrysler Transport in Warren. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, trains and tinkering on all sorts of little projects. He is survived by his children, Charles and Loretta Pirtle of Waterford, Sheila and Craig Williston of Chatham, Ontario and Roxanne Potts of Windsor, Ontario, his grandchildren, Shannon and Jennifer Williston and Charles and Joseph Pirtle and special friend, Miguel "The Who" Roldan of Sterling Heights. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandson, Shawn Potts on March 17, 2005. A funeral Mass will be on Thursday, January 10th at 10:30am in St. Augustine Catholic Church, Richmond. Visiting will be on Wednesday from 3 to 8pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Cremation will follow services. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
