Laurence "Larry" Behem

LAURENCE "LARRY" BEHEM age 72 of Riley, MI died Thursday, July 2, 2015 after a brief illness in the Blue Water Hospice House in Marysville. Mr. Behem was born February 20, 1943 in Detroit to the late Laurence and Agnes (Croteau). He graduated from St. Clair High School in 1961 and attended one year of college. He married Joyce Dunsmore in New Baltimore on March 16, 1974. Larry's passion was his business, Larry's Trucking and Excavating which he owned and operated for over thirty years. He also enjoyed going to the casinos. He is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Joyce, children; Larry (Millie) Behem of Algonac, Ronald (Debbie) Behem of Casco, Scott (Dawn) Behem of Riley, Jacqueline (Al) Garlinghouse of Lewiston and Geraldine (Dean) Haskin of Casco, sisters; Annette Kelly of Mesa, AZ and Jacquie Mousseau of Sun City, AZ and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be on Tuesday, July 7th at 10:00am in Rewalt Funeral Home in Richmond. Reverend Alvin Titus will officiate. Burial will be in the Memphis Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, July 6th from 3 to 8pm and Tuesday from 9 to 10am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested for the Blue Water Hospice, House, 2795 Edison Drive, Marysville, MI. 48040.
