Laura June Klovski

Laura J. Klovski, 60, of Lenox Township, died Saturday, October 20, 2012 after a long illness. She was born in Detroit on June 2, 1952 to the late Thomas & Jane (Hoschke) Hanley. Laura married Brain C. Klovski on June 2, 1972 in St. Ambrosia Catholic Church, Grosse Pointe Park. Laura was a paraprofessional helping special needs children at Lakeshore School in St. Clair Shores. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Laura enjoyed knitting, crocheting and crafts. She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Brain; two dear children, Eric Klovski of California and Erin Klovski of Harrison Twp. and her darling granddaughter, Skylar; two brothers, Jim (Patricia) Hanley of Clinton Twp., and Mark Hanley of Harrison Twp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marsha Hanley. Visitation will be held from 5-8:00 pm Wednesday, October 24, 2012. A private family burial will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Detroit. Memorials may be made to the family. Arrangements were made by Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond.
