Kenneth (Kenny) James Schulte

Kenneth (Kenny) James Schulte, 79 of Columbus Twp., passed away at The Orchards of Armada on January 11, 2023. Kenny as he was always called, was born March 2, 1943 to the late Robert and Aurella Schulte.  Beloved husband of 59 years to Carol Schulte, cherished father of Christopher (Carla) Schulte, Stacy (Frank) Lopez and Stephanie (David) Houth; caring grandfather of Nickolas, Korey (Antolina), David (Brooke); Jacob, Noah and Max, great grandfather of Korey Jr, Kali, and River. Survived by his sister Karen Lavers, he was preceded in death by his sister Bobbi Van Ermen. Born in Detroit, his family moved to St. Clair Shores in the early 1950’s, where he graduated from St. Gertrude Catholic School in 1962, married his favorite dance partner in 1964 and raised his family there until moving to Columbus Twp.in 2003. Even though he spent many years in the tool & die trade, Kenny was a jack of all trades and could fix, remodel, build or teardown anything and never ask for help. He loved everything about the outdoors, boating, hunting, sailing, etc. .but most of all he loved riding his Harley.  A normal day ride would be 200+ miles of joy and relaxation for him as well as Carol, who was usually right behind him on the seat.
