Judith Ann Tonkovich

Judith Ann Tonkovich, 81, of Richmond, passed away at home Monday, June 14, 2021. Judy was born January 23, 1940 to the late Arthur and Margaret Fistler. Loving wife of the late John Tonkovich; cherished mother of Connie Fidler (Randy), Martin (Pam) Tonkovich, Robert (Rachel) Kaatz, Randy (Tammy) Kaatz, Rochelle (Mark) Hutcheson, Rory (Debbie) Kaatz, Renee (Dan) Sparby and Rhonda (Ken) Hutchins; caring grandmother of Tina (Ken) Precour, Matthew Tonkovich, Bob (Debbie) and David (Kelly) Demo, Tracy (Philip) Pack, Adrian (Tim) Gabriel, Garrett (Hailey) Hutcheson, Holly (Doug Cozby) Hutcheson, Eric (Cherrie) Sparby, Sarah (Drew Durdik) Sparby, Kelly Sparby, Kevin (Courtney), Kristie ( Jim Binnall) and Derek Hutchins; great grandmother of 17. Also, survived by her sisters, Leora (Stanley) Newman and Carrie (Robert) Buckland, sister-in-law’s, Sue Fistler and Leni Fistler. Preceded in death by her brothers, Gerald and Ronald Fistler. Judy was long time parishioner at Trinity Lutheran church where she worked on the funeral luncheons and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Women. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting, camping and loved to entertain.

Visitation will be 3:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 17, 2021 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062. Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. with a visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Service Friday, June 18, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 35110 Division Rd, Richmond, MI 48062.
