JUDITH MARIE MARCHBANKS age 73 of Columbus Township, formerly of South Branch, MI died Tuesday, October 8, 2013 in McLaren Macomb Hospital after an extended illness. Mrs. Marchbanks was born December 9, 1939 in Mount Clemens to the late James and Alice (Brindley) Peltier. Judy worked as a hostess and waitress at the Timbers Steak House in South Branch which was owned by her husband, Norman. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching spooky movies. She is survived by her children; Lee (Thomas) Skelton of Yale, Teresa (Timothy) Cleland of Columbus Township, Malinda (Fritz) Delinski of Clinton Township and Sandra (Jean) Raad of Roseville, sisters; Nancy Shannon of Columbus Township and Joan (James) Foster of Decatur, IL., eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her former husband and friend, Norman on July 1, 2010. A funeral service will be Friday, October 11, 2013 at 7:00pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Reverend Alvin Titus will officiate. Visiting will be Friday from 3 until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Lymphoma Society, Michigan Chapter, 1421 East 12 Mile Road, Madison Heights, MI. 480712 or wishes of the family.
