Joseph James Gauci

Joseph James Gauci, 86, of Lenox Twp., passed away peacefully at home Monday, May 14, 2018. Joe was born January 3, 1932 to the late Gio and Anna Gauci. Beloved husband of Susanne Gauci; dear father of Dawn (Andrew) Spencer. Also, survived by his sister Carmela (Bob) Martz, nieces and nephews. Joe played professional baseball for the Detroit Tigers farm club and the Baltimore Orioles in the 1950's. He loved sports and picked up on any sport quickly, but he especially liked golf.
A Memorial Service will take place 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service Monday, May 21, 2018 at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 67055 Gratiot Ave., Richmond, MI 48062.
