JOHN JOSEPH WAWRZYNIAK age 70 of Richmond Township died unexpectedly on Monday, July 28, 2014 in Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township. Mr. Wawrzyniak was born July 8, 1944 in Hamtramck to the late John and Mathilda (Severin) Wawrzyniak. He graduated from St. Augustine High School in Richmond in 1962 and served with the United States National Guard for twenty-two years. He married Lois Giddens in Richmond on October 27, 1967. John worked as a sheet metal presser at Pontiac Motor Division retiring in 2006 after forty-two years service. He enjoyed camping and doing yard work. He is survived by his wife Lois, daughters; Deanne and Tracy Wawrzyniak and Kelly (Gene) Hughey, grandsons; Nate, Travis and Gerald, sister; Kathleen (Jim) O'Hara and his mother-in-law; Earlene Giddens. A funeral service was Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 10:00 am in Rewalt Funeral Home in Richmond. Reverend Joseph Horn, pastor of Holy Family Parish officiated. Memorial contributions were suggested for the wishes of the family.
