John Michael Kocher

John Michael Kocher, 53, of Richmond, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital. John was born November 18, 1967 to John and Lana Kocher. Beloved husband of Carole Kocher; cherished father of Alexandra and Elizabeth. Also, survived by his step-mother, Kathleen Kocher, brother, Joe Kocher and nephew’s, Jasper and Logan. John had been the elementary social worker for the Clintondale School District. He enjoyed sports, played college baseball and basketball, was the varsity football coach for Richmond High School and was extremely close to the football community. John loved to spend time with his daughters and family.
Visitation will be 3:00-8:00p.m. with a time of sharing from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062.
