Jerome Donald Novak

Jerome Donald Novak, age 77, of Shelby Twp. Died peacefully at Wellbridge of Romeo, Saturday, November 5, 2016. Jerry was born in 1939 to the late Frank and Bernice Novak. Beloved husband of Lois Novak; Caring father of Lori (James) Ruiz; Grandfather of Savannah Ruiz. Also, survived by his sister's Carol Stackpoole, Louise Stiner, Sharon (Rod) Lloyd and many nieces and nephews. Jerry is preceded in death by his son Mark Novak who passed in 1985. Jerry was employed at Jerome Duncan Ford for many years after he retired he worked part time at Cracklewood Golf Course. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. and was a member of the V.F.W. post 4659, loved his game of cards and spent a lot of time in the summer doing what he liked best, working in his yard. Jerry will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. Funeral service will be 11:30 a.m. with a visitation from 9:30 until time of service, Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Peace Lutheran Church, 6580 24 Mile Rd, Shelby Twp., 48316.
