JENNIE KATHIE FERGUSON age 88, a lifelong resident of Lenox Township died Saturday, October 1, 2011 in her home. Mrs. Ferguson was born December 20, 1922 in Hamtramck, MI. to the late Robert and Stella (Poiner) Przybyla. She married Elmer Ferguson in Richmond on November 22, 1945. Jennie graduated from Richmond High School in 1941 and attended Business School. She worked as a secretary at St. Augustine Catholic Church for twenty-five years. She was a member of the Blue Water Polka Booster, St. Augustine Altar Sodality and Daughters of Isabella. She enjoyed sewing, doing crafts and gardening. She is survived by her husband, Elmer, children, Pamela (Lawrence) Koenig of Sacramento, CA., Marcia (James) Klienhans of Lenox, Robert (Geri) Ferguson of Burton, Phillip Ferguson of Ann Arbor and Janie (Robert) Schroeder of Lenox, twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Glenn Sinclair III in 2004 and her sister, Anne Fistler in 2008. A funeral service will be on Tuesday at 10:00am in St. Augustine Church. Reverend Edward Ritter will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Richmond. Visiting will be on Monday, October 3rd from 3 to 8pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10;00am at the church.
