JASON ALAN FRANK age 29 of Richmond died accidently on Friday, January 18, 2013 in Oceanside, CA. Jason was born May 30, 1983 in Port Huron to George and Marilyn (Lumley) Frank. He graduated from Richmond High School in 2002. Jason loved his country and what it stood for and served as a proud U.S. Marine for eight years serving two tours overseas before being discharged on December 31, 2012. He was a life member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Richmond. Jason was a former Cub Scout and Boy Scout, member of the Richmond Sportsman Club and a dare devil who enjoy hunting. His passion was art and drawing and his intention was to pursue a degree in that field. He is survived by his parents; George and Marilyn Frank of Richmond, sisters; Melissa (Dan) Daugherty of Wales Twp. and Shelby Frank of Richmond, his nephew; Alan Daugherty of Wales, his Marine brother; Dan Johns of Texas and many aunts,uncles and cousins. A funeral service will be on Sunday, January 2, 2013 at 1:30pm in Trinity Lutheran Church in Richmond. Reverend Kelsay Parker will officiate. Visiting will be on Saturday, January 26th from 3 to 8pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond and Sunday from 1:00 to 1:30 pm in the church. Memorial contributions are suggested for the Richmond VFW.
