Janet A. Suess

JANET ANNA SUESS age 74, a lifelong resident of the Richmond area died Sunday, August 18, 2013 in St. John Macomb Hospital. She was born May 17, 1939 to the late Roland and Leona (Ottenbacher) Suess. She married Dallas Kuester in Richmond on October 24, 1959. Mr. Kuester died in 1962. She married William Hill in Mount Clemens on February 19, 1965. Janet worked at Lionell Train Co, in Chesterfield for many years and most recently at Meier's in Washington Twp. Janet was a coffee drinker and a former horse enthusiast. She is survived by her children; Darryl Kuester of Boyne City, Lori (James) Capozzo of Richmond, Rhonda (Archie) O'Donnell of Goodells and Renee (James) Pietrykowski of Lenox, son-in-law; Mark Kowalske of Boyne City, siblings; Roland (Grace) Suess, Lloyd (Doris) Suess and Donna Jesse all of Casco, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and former husband; William Hill of Peck. She was preceded in death by her daughter Jody Hill-Kowalske on May 19, 2010 and brothers, Kenneth and George Suess. A funeral service will be on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 9:30am in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond. Reverend Philip Ching, pastor of St. Augustine Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery. Visiting will be Wednesday from 3 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
