James E. Moore Jr.

JAMES EDWARD MOORE JR age 72 of St. Clair died Saturday, December 27, 2014 after an extended illness. Mr. Moore was born December 8, 1942 in Bad Axe, MI. to the late James and Ethel (Brown) Moore. He graduated from Richmond High School in 1960 and attended St. Clair County Community College. He married Carolyn Kotschedoff in St. Augustine Catholic Church in Richmond on September 5, 1964. Jim retired in 1991 as a materials handler for General Motors in the Pontiac Motors Parts Plant after twenty-nine years. He was a member of the UAW Local #653 and the Richmond Sportsman Club. He enjoyed trap shooting, hunting, camping and traveling. He liked working on cars and especially loved classic cars. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, daughters; Elizabeth Moore of St. Clair, Julie (John) Foss of North Street and Stephanie Moore of St. Clair, grandchildren; Ellen, Erin and Thomas Foss and his brother, David Moore. A funeral Mass will be said on Tuesday, December 30th at 11:00am in St. Augustine Church. Reverend Phil Ching, associate pastor will officiate. Burial will be in the Memphis Cemetery. Visiting will be on Monday from 4 to 8pm in Rewalt Funeral Home in Richmond and Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:00am in the church. Memorial contributions are suggested for St. Augustine Church.
