James C. Kelly Jr.

JAMES CHARLES KELLY JR. age 61 of Richmond, formerly of Rogers City, MI. died Monday, May 6, 2013 after an extended illness. Mr. Kelly was born September 28, 1951 in St. Clair, MI to the late James and Iliane (Williams) Kelly. He graduated from Richmond High School in1969 and was a Vietnam Veteran serving with the U. S. States Navy. Jim owned and operated Kelly's Venture Inn in Rogers City for twenty-four years. He was a member of the VFW Richmond Post, AMVETS and the Richmond Chapter of the MOOSE. He enjoyed hunting and going to the casinos. He is survived by his children; Nathan and Angela Kelly of Rogers City, former wife and loving caregiver; Susan Muckle of Rogers City, grandchildren; Caden and Landen Brege of Rogers City and sisters; Catherine (Zenon) Grace of Richmond, Carolyn (Jack) Fleury of St. Clair and Jackie (Howard) Viegelahn of Rogers City. Per Jim's wish there are no services scheduled. Cremation arrangements were handled by Rewalt Funeral Home in Richmond.
