James Donald Fox, 76, of Brown City, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, September 18, 2020. Jim was born December 3, 1943 to the late Donald and Inez Fox. Loving husband of Ruth Fox; caring father of Crystal (Paul) Kalil and Jewel (John) Maluchnik; cherished grandfather of Morgan, Grace, Luke, Emma, Olivia, Jade, Joshua and Jonathan. Also, survived by his sister, Alice Collins, nieces, Holly, Dolly, Tammy and Constance, nephews, Jimmy, Brian and Matthew, sister-in-law, Nancy Fyfe and brother-in-law, Greg Fyfe. Preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Jim Collins.
Jim proudly served his country as a Ranger in the United States Army. He was in the 1st Division (The Big Red One), C-Company, 16th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade during the Vietnam war and also was a radio teletype operator in South Korea. He worked for TRW for 35 years. Jim was an outdoorsman that enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, baseball and motorcycle riding.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. with a visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass, Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 57575 Romeo Plank Rd, Ray, MI 48096.
