Jacqueline Mary Rushlow

Jacqueline Mary Rushlow, 83, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. Jacqueline was born on May 6, 1941 to the late Samuel and Hazel Carpentier in Detroit, Michigan. Jacqueline attended St. Augustine Church and school. She married Duane Rushlow on November 18, 1961. She worked and managed the funeral luncheons at St. Augustine for 20 years. She loved to cook and everyone was always welcome in her home. She will always be remembered for her love of family, faith, her hospitality, her awesome sense of humor and her never ending encouragement. She was a long time member of the St. Augustine Altar Sodality. Jacqueline is survived by her husband, Duane Rushlow, children, Gregory (Brenda) Rushlow, Sandra Rushlow, Judy (Dan) Scheppman, grandchildren, Bryon D’Annunzio, Brittany Carter, Andrew and Ashley Scheppman.
Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 68035 Main St, Richmond, MI 48062.
