JACK I. TREEND age 70, a lifelong resident of Richmond died Sunday, December 8, 2013 in the Medilodge of Richmond after an extended illness. Mr. Treend was born October 5, 1943 in Mount Clemens, MI to the late Verlin and Marion (Fenton) Treend. He graduated from Richmond High School with the class of 1961 and served with the United States Navy from August 1961 through October 1964. He married Victoria McNutt in Richmond on January 30, 1965. Jack work as a real estate broker for Treend Realty in Richmond. He was member of the Richmond Lions Club, Richmond Sportsman Club, Richmond Moose Lodge and the Hale F.O.E. He was a former member of the Richmond City Council and the Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce. He enjoyed going to the casinos and the pull tab lottery tickets. He is survived by his wife, Victoria, children; Robert and Jeanne Treend of Casco and Tracy and Michael Tackaberry of Columbus, grandchildren; Preston, Pierce and Parker Treend and Jonathan and Emily Tackaberry and siblings; Terry, Robert and Thomas Treend and Suzanne Schuster. A memorial visitation will be on Thursday, December 12th from 3 to 8pm in Rewalt Funeral Home in Richmond. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
