HOSANNA EVELYN COOPER 72 of Richmond died Wednesday, February 23, 2011 in Medilodge of Richmond after an extended illness. Mrs. Cooper was born March 22, 1938 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada to the late Alfred and Hosanna (Jacques) Lapierre. She married James C. Cooper in Hazel Park, MI. on October 15, 1960. Mr. Cooper died April 19, 1985. Hosanna and her husband owned and operated "Jim's Snack Pack" in Caseville for over thirty years. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Richmond and participated in the Altar Soldality. She enjoyed doing crafts, especially painting porcelain dolls. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed for her infectious laughter and wit. She is survived by her daughters, Colette Royer and Michelle Knoblock, sister, Theresa Campbell and grandchildren, Cody McIlhargie, Shane Royer and Hailey Knoblock all of Richmond. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her sister, Rita Normandeau. A memorial service will be on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 10:30am in St. Augustine Catholic Church in Richmond. Reverend Joseph Plawecki, pastor will officiate. Visiting will be in the church from 10 to 10:30am.
