Henry Kolasinski

Henry Kolasinski Jr., 65, of Columbus passed away at Troy Beaumont Hospital Friday, October 21, 2016 after a short battle with Cancer; Born to the late Henry and Eleanor Kolasinski on January 1, 1951. Beloved husband of Gertrude Kolasinski; Father of Michelle (Alex) Maggs, Chris Kolasinski, Holly (Gabrielle) Lowery, Tim (Krista) McBride and Josh (Crystal) Zabel; Grandfather of Sydney and Morgan Maggs, Evan Johnson, Tim Jr. and Kaylee McBride and Tylor Zabel; Also, survived by his siblings Nancy (Ted) Nowicki, Phyllis Ellison, Doris (Rudi) Klemm and Anita Kolasinski, as well nieces, nephews and many friends. Preceded in death by his sisters Elaine Kolasinski and Sally (Sonny) Copenhagen. Henry was a devoted community man; he was a member of the Country Cruisers, Richmond Moose Lodge, Eagles Club and retired from Teamsters Local 299. Henry was involved in many fundraising activities with the Country Cruisers and Snyderville Lions Club. He enjoyed cruising his 1966 Chevelle, 1966 Mustang and 1970 Ranchero in the Richmond Good Old Days parade and the Memphis Memorial Day parade each year. His last project was a 1955 Dodge Pickup. He enjoyed listening to 50's music and spending time with family especially his grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, October 24, 1:00 - 8:00 p.m. with a scripture service at 6:30 p.m. at Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond 48062. Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 25, 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home.
