Helen R. Ureel

HELEN ROSAMOND UREEL age 79 of Lenox Township died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 in Henry Ford Macomb Hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Ureel was born October 29, 1931 in Mount Clemens, MI. to the late John and Irene (Carlin) Flood. She married Eugene Ureel in Mount Clemens on August 22, 1959. Mr. Ureel died December 22, 2010. Helen graduated from St. Mary's High School in Mount Clemens in 1950. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Richmond, Daughters of Isabella and the Altar Sodality. She enjoyed doing ceramics, painting, crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Dennis (Ann) of Harrison Twp., Richard (Gale) of Columbus, Gery (Jennifer) of Marysville, Mark of Lenox, Michael of Richmond, Joseph (Nicole) of Marysville, Diane (Paul) Raska of Casco, Linda (Don)Gunter of Richmond and Mary Ann Boyd of Lenox, siblings, Kenneth (MaryLou) Flood of Harrison and Margie Kroon of Hamilton, OH, brother-in-law, Raymond Ryngaert of Harrison Twp. and sixteen grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her siblings, Clair Flood, Jack Flood and Kathleen Ryngaret and brother-in-law, Nick Kroon. A funeral Mass was Saturday, April 2nd at St. Augustine Church. Reverend Wayne Ureel officiated. Burial was in St. Michael Cemetery.
