Helen Rosemary Thomas, 86, of Richmond passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Medilodge of Richmond. Helen was born September 30, 1934 to the late Clarence and Marie Nugent. Loving wife of the late Allen Thomas; caring mother of Michael (Cynthia), David and Patrick (Colleen) Thomas; special grandmother of Christopher, Shannon (Tyler) LaFountain, Robert (Jenny), Jessica (Brad) Bertlan, Jacob (Sydney), Nicholas, Christina and Timothy Thomas; great grandmother of Easton, Lincoln, Kenyon, Robert Jr. and Raelyn. Also, survived by her sisters, Nancy Jackson and Gail Shirey and brothers, David and John Nugent. Preceded in death by her brothers, Gerald and Daniel Nugent. Helen loved spending time with family especially her grandchildren. She had a green thumb and could grow just about anything, but she was known for African Violets and Geraniums.
