Helen E. Ross

HELEN ELIZABETH ROSS age 87 of Casco Township died June 8, 2009 in her home after an extended illness. Mrs. Ross was born June 11, 1921 in Detroit to the late Frank and Frances (Dobrzychowski) Ribant. She married Richard Ross in Detroit on November 12, 1946. Mr. Ross died in 1974. Helen graduated from St. Elizabeth High School and attended Lawrence Tech University. She was an avid sewer. She is survived by her children, Richard and Johanna Ross of Port Hope and Bernadette and Daniel Galvin of Casco, siblings, Edna Ciemiega of Fraser, Dolores Kowalski of Metamora and Irvin Ribant of Oscoda, five grandchildren and one great-grandson. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her son, Alan Ross on April 1, 2000 and siblings, Rita Solomon, Loretta Madurski and Carl, Edward, Norman and Lester Ribant. Cremation services were handled by Rewalt Funeral Home in Richmond.
