Heather Marie Oswald, 49, of Casco Twp., passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Born on February 4, 1975, to Robert and Sharon Hernden, Heather brought light and joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was the beloved wife of Todd Oswald, sharing 29 beautiful years of marriage filled with love and partnership. Heather was the cherished mother of Alex (Cassi), Austin (Kaitlyn), Andrew, Aiden, and Ashton Oswald, and the adored grandmother of little Hudson, who brought her so much pride and joy. She is also deeply missed by her siblings, Rebecca (Dave) Zelerak, Scott (Pam) Hernden, Kevin (Kim) Hernden, Kim Murphy, and Tracy (John) Freleigh, all of whom shared a special bond with her that will forever remain in their hearts. Heather was a beacon of love, grace, and boundless generosity. As a devoted wife and mother, she cherished her family with every fiber of her being, always putting their happiness and well-being above all else. Her warmth and kindness extended far beyond her household, as she poured her heart into serving others as a Pastor at The RockMacomb. Heather had an incredible gift for making people feel seen, valued, and loved, whether through hosting joyous gatherings that brought everyone closer together or simply lending a compassionate ear. She had a remarkable ability to turn ordinary moments into extraordinary memories, creating a sense of joy and connection that left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Heather's legacy of faith, creativity, and unshakable love will forever inspire those who were blessed to share in her life.
Family and friends are invited to honor Heather’s life during a visitation on Monday, November 25, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home. A Funeral Service celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., with an additional visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m., at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, located at 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062.
