Grace C. Morreale

GRACE CAMILLE MORREALE age 84 of Casco Township died Sunday, September 12, 2010 in Henry Ford Macomb Hospital after and extended illness. Mrs. Morreale was born July 24, 1926 in Detroit to the late Michaelangleo and Graziella (Zaffuto) Morreale. She married Paul J. Morreale in Detroit on June 30, 1946. Grace graduated from Commerce High School in 1944. She and her husband owned and operated the St. Rose Poultry and Fish Market in Detroit for fifty years. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Richmond and served in the Altar Sodality and Blue Army Rosary Group. She enjoyed cooking and crocheting. She was proud to be a cyber grandma, communicating with her children, grandchildren and friends. She is survived by her husband, Paul, children, Marguerite (Robert) Buckles of Casco, Gracelynn (Pat) Formicola of Clinton Twp., Michele (Mark) Radulovich of Lenox, Paulette (Stephen) Mancuso of Troy and Paul Morreale of Casco, siblings, Michael Morreale of Detroit, Paul Morreale of Clinton Twp., Mary Jane Rand of Detroit and Jean Baird of New Baltimore, eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Visiting will be Wednesday from 3 to 8pm in Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond and Thursday from 10 to 10:30 in the church. A rosary service will be Wednesday at 6:30pm. A funeral Mass will be on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 10:30am in St. Augustine Catholic Church in Richmond. Reverend Joseph Plaweki, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family.
