Florence Louise Baczewski

Florence Louise Baczewski, 90, of Columbus, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family Thursday, July 25, 2019. Florence was born July 22, 1929 to the late Robert and Dolores Wilson. She attended East Detroit High School then moved to Richmond in 1947 where she met her husband Anthony Baczewski. They were married in St. Phillips, Columbus on November 10, 1951 and were married 48 happy years before Anthony's passing on June 7, 2000.
Together, they raised 8 children. She was the cherished mother of: Arthur (Vicki) Baczewski, David Baczewski, Richard (Melissa) Baczewski, Diane Liebetreu, Sharon (Brian) McCone, Donna Baczewski, Rita (Steve) Creviston and Tony Baczewski; caring grandmother of Julie (Larry), Andrea, Alyssa, Alexander, Aniela, Nicholas, Noah, Albert (Katlyn), Brandon, Russ (Angie), Chris (Megan), David, Krystal, Stephanie, Emily, Vicki and Abby; great grandmother of 11. She is survived by her sister, Rose Underwood of Houston, TX. Five brothers and one sister predeceased Florence: Billy Wilson, Tommy Wilson, Al Wilson, Jack Wilson, Ted Wilson, and Mary Dalrick.
She was a member of Holy Family Parish. She loved being outside and basking in the sun along with watching hummingbirds and butterflies within her small flower garden. You couldn't keep her from watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
Visitation will be 3:00-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2019 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062.
Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Holy Family Parish, 79780 Main St, Memphis, MI 48041.
